MemoRekall for digital publishing: Snow does not make sense.

In 2016, the monograph Snow does not make sense was published by Subjectile. This book is centered around the work of the company Adrien M & Claire B and presents an interview with the founders of the company, documents on their creative process, as well as pieces in augmented reality. The digital version of the publication, in French and English, is augmented with MemoRekall capsules. These offer a deeper comprehension of the company’s creative process and allow us to publish a vast number of related documents.

Hakanai – Compagnie AMCB from Clarisse Bardiot on MemoRekall.

This capsule traces the creative process of one of the company’s pieces, Hakanaï: a performance for a dancer in a cube of moving images. In the capsule we find a diverse array of documents that inform us about the creative process: technical information, scores, 3D models… It is a great way to really understand the piece, to understand where it came from and to access new perspectives on it.

The following capsules take on the same principles.
